The truth is, I so badly wanted to pursue my own path, this burning desire that has been simmering for the longest. And you know what, I became nervous and doubt sinked in. Living in a big city I didn’t know how I was going to afford it. Despite knowing deep down there wasn’t a job out there that I wanted, I frantically began to apply. I crafted the “perfect” resume and cover letters….and then…crickets. Not a single interview. The rejections piled up, each one a tiny sting, but also a strange sense of liberation.

Maybe the universe was telling me something. Maybe it was time to stop searching for someone else’s dream and to finally start building my own. And this fire was lit in me even more after realizing the incredible potential I have to create a life on my own terms.

The following year became a journey of self-discovery. I spent time traveling, sitting in silence, reading, taking courses, endless months of learning, building through trial and error, and even starting and stopping a couple of ideas. This period was crucial in helping me define my passions and identify the skills I needed to pursue my own dream.

So what did I do? In January 2024, I launched my blog. But simply having a blog wasn’t enough. To drive traffic, I focused on Pinterest. I wasn’t new to Pinterest – it was my digital vision board for years. But to drive traffic, I knew I needed to go deeper. So, I dove into the world of Pinterest marketing. The key? Strategic content creation. This realization prompted me to invest in myself. I wasn’t afraid to take the leap and learn high-income skills like blogging and online marketing. Mastering these fundamentals became crucial for turning my Pinterest passion into generating a ton of traffic.

This constant learning, combined with consistent effort, allowed me to see some traction and taste a bit of success within the first 3 months.
